I've opened a ticket with IK Multimedia as well (not sure how useful that will be.), but if anyone has had this problem before and found a way to make this work, I would be super grateful for any help!! I've been checking the forum and elsewhere on the web and can't seem to come across any straight answers with regards to solving this issue, even though it seems many people have had similar problems.

I've now just extracted the audio files and placed them in an 'instruments' folder which I'm trying to direct the player to in the prefs section, but all to no avail. All this happens continuously and even after repeated restarts of my system. The second and even more annoying problem is that while the Miroslav plug in itself seems to have installed fine, but when I try to install the sound files from the various dmg packages, the installer 'quits unexpectedly' every single time, keeping me from installing the sounds or even opening the packages (I only have the download version - no DVDs with the sound files on, just the 7GB worth of 9 dmgs). I can't seem to get out of this loop of doom at all. Firstly the Authorization Manager keeps prompting me that it is 'outdated' and needs to be updated, however whenever I follow the link and install the supposedly most recent version, it tells me again upon opening it that is still outdated.
